Strand of hair nearly severs child's toe

Temple Terrace, Florida -- Doctors say a strand of hair was so tightly wrapped around a child's toe, it was nearly cut off.

Kimberly Grubb brought her baby daughter Norah Saed to University Community Hospital early Friday, because she was crying so much.  That's when doctors discovered one toe was nearly amputated, and others severely swelled because of a hair strand wrapped around them.

Hunter arrested after posing with kills on Facebook

Tampa, FL -- Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) investigators arrested a Tampa man June 17 after receiving a complaint about photos that had been posted on Facebook.

According to the FWC, the complaint said that a deer and alligator had been freshly killed and that the suspected hunter, 21-year-old Kyle Edwards, was also in the photos.

Edwards told an FWC investigator on June 10 he and a friend went to a private property north of Otter Creek in Levy County to camp and shoot a new AK-47 he had recently purchased at a Tampa gun show.

The two men saw an alligator on the dirt road leading to the camp, and Edwards shot and killed it. He explained they cleaned it, ate some of the meat and later gave the rest of the alligator meat to friends. The carcass was disposed of on a dump pile near the camp.

Crawling to the top: How I've gotten this far and why I'd want to work for Charlie Sheen

That's me in that video -- freaking out about making one of the Top 50 spots for the Charlie Sheen Tiger Blood Internship competition.

It’s been a week since the 250 Round 3 participants found out whether they’ve moved on to the final round or not. I made the cut -- but that’s the last I’ve heard.

I’ve yet to hear from Team Sheen if I’m his Tiger Blood intern or not. I’ll be at his show Friday, so maybe I’ll be able to ask him then.

I’ve got a plan -- a legal one, don’t worry -- to get his attention.
