And the maker of the Best Burger in the Bay is...

Tampa, FL -- ...The Green Iguana!

Chefs gathered in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park Friday night to flip burgers for braggin’ rights and raise money to support Friends of the Riverwalk in their goal of completing and activating Tampa’s Riverwalk.

The panel of culinary and celebrity Judges awarded Best Burger in the Bay to Green Iguana who presented a specialty burger not even on their menu, but will be served in restaurants for the next month in honor of their win!

McDonald's offers free FCAT breakfasts Monday morning

Tampa, Florida-- According to a recent release, more than 800 McDonald's restaurants in the state of Florida will provide a free breakfast to students on April 16, the first day of the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT).

Students in grades three-11 can enjoy a complimentary Egg McMuffin, Apple Slices, and a low-fat milk or orange juice from any of the 188 McDonald's restaurants in the Tampa Bay area.

Be sure to get there between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m. to take advantage of this offer!

3rd Annual Top Chef of the Year Tampa Bay event winners

Tampa, Florida -- Twelve of Tampa Bay’s finest executive chefs battled it out in front of 160 guests at the Child Abuse Council’s 3rd Annual Top Chef of the Year Tampa Bay event on March 26.

Courses ranged from popular crowd favorites, such as Kobe beef tenderloin and lobster bisque to food with a twist, such as squid-ink pappardelle and bacon ice cream. They came, they cooked and they conquered.
