Protect yourself and only sip on sanitary water, but make sure to consider your creatures during this time too!

Hillsborough County, Florida--  Tampa Police Join Local and Federal Law Enforcement Agencies in Drug Take-Back Operation TPD officers collected 163 pounds of prescription pills during Operation Medicine Cabinet last August

What: Tampa Police Officers, Hillsborough County Sheriff's Deputies, Temple Terrace Police Officers and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Agents will collect unused or expired prescriptions and over-the-counter medications from citizens in an effort to prevent them from getting into the wrong hands.

Temple Terrace, Florida - The Temple Terrace Police Department and U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) are teaming up to prevent pill abuse and theft by giving residents a way to rid their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs. 

Area residents can take their unwanted or unneeded prescription drugs to the Temple Terrace Police Department, 11250 N. 56th St., on Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for disposal.

Tampa, Florida -- "Race 4 Her Life: Fighting Ovarian Cancer" is a 5k run/walk on USF's campus.

The race takes place Sunday, March 18 at the Sun Dome. There is a fee of $25, which includes a shirt. All profits of the event will be donated towards ovarian cancer research or treatment options for victims of the disease.

Come out, make friends, and save lives in an exciting 5k! The top Male/Female runner will receive customized Nike Free Running Shoes!
